Terms & Conditions
1 Session Fee
1.1 The session deposit/fee paid is non refundable, cover the time/preparation for the session by Wiola Monko.
Deposit is deducted from chosen package.
1.2 Session deposit is required within 24 hours of the booking. The session will be reserved for 24 hours, if client fail to pay session fee with that time, must contact photographer, to check availability.
1.3 Payment is to be made via cash or bank transfer one the day of the session.
Only full edited images (in JPG format) will be presented to client as final product.
2. Cancellation
2.1 If the client cancels the appointment for any reason, the session fee will be non-refundable.
2.2 Due to unforeseen circumstances, the session may be required to be moved by either Wiola Monko or by the client.
2.3 If the client requires the booking to be moved, Wiola Monko will offer alternative dates available. If the client cannot attend the alternative session dates then booking will be cancelled and clause 1.1 will apply.
2.4 If Wiola Monko require the booking to be moved due to reasons other than clause 2.3, alternative dates will be offered. If the client cannot attend the sessions then booking will be cancelled and clause 1.1 will apply.
2.5 If Wiola Monko fail to appear for the session without giving prior notice, then a full refund will be given to the client.
2.6 If your child is ill, please let Wiola Monko know as soon as possible. Clause 2.2 & 2.3 will apply in this instance.
If the illness is due to Covid-19, Wiola Monko has the right to ask for proof of a positive test (PCR). If you fail to notify Wiola Monko with proof clause 1.1 will apply.
2.7 If you fail to notify Wiola Monko that your child(ren) is ill then we reserve the right to cancel the session and clause 1.1 will apply.
2.8 If you fail to notify Wiola Monko with in lest than 48h( 72h for cake smash session ) that your not going to attend we reserve the right to cancel the session and clause 1.1 will apply and in few circumstances purchaser will have to cover full amount of the session.
3. During the session
3.1 The session will be carried my studio in Molesey.
3.2 Animals are not allowed in the studio unless via prior arrangement.
3.4 We only have space for a maximum of 2 adults in the studio. Wiola Monko must be made aware of additional guests of any age, in advance.
3.5 Please discuss any requirements prior to the session. If you have an idea of certain types of images required please let Wiola Monko know prior to the session.
3.6 The photographer will position the baby/child in the most suitable position ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
3.7 The photographer will use best judgement and experience to ensure that all the photographs are of the highest quality.
3.8 If you are unhappy at any time during the session, please let the photographer know as soon as possible so that any issues can be discussed and resolved.
3.9 All necessary steps will be taken to produce high quality images but in the unfortunate event where the child/children will not settle or refuse to participate, Wiola Monko will not be held responsible should the amount of images be taken be reduced.
3.10 No refund will be offered in the circumstance detailed in 3.9, however, Wiola Monko may be able to offer to reshoot the session at a later date but this is not guaranteed.
3.11 Mobile phones are permitted in the studio but the camera must not be used under any circumstances.
3.12 No photography, including video, of any type must be conducted by clients within the studio.
3.13 If a client is found to have taken photos or videos within the studio either at the time of the session or after, then all photos taken by Wiola Monko will be deleted and the session fee forfeited.
3.14 Clients are responsible for their personal belongings at all times and Wiola Monko takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to such items.
4. After the session ( Viewing appointment)
4.1 After the session is completed, all the images will be uploaded to a secure computer. Any images which fall below the standard expected (such as where the flash failed to go off) will be deleted securely.
4.2 Wiola Monko will professionally edit each and individual of session images , will contact client 4-6 weeks from the session date to arrange viewing. During the most busy time of the year – beginning of October till end of December editing time may be extended to 8 weeks. Viewing must take place within 3 months from the session date. Maximum of 4 weeks from the date of contact to arrange it. Viewing will take place in home studio. If client lives over 3h driving distance from photographer it’s possible to arrange viewing based on online gallery.
4.3 There is no minimum quantity of images for the preview. The quantity of images will be dependent on the session.
4.4 Viewing appointment can be rescheduled due to personal circumstances once. If you require to change the date and time again or if more than one viewing is required £50 rearranged viewing fee will apply.
4.5 Client must decide which package and products if any, she/he wants to choose on viewing appointment, payment must be received on the day of the viewing.
4.6 Gallery ( if used) is to view images only. All images belong to Wiola Monko are covered under copyrights (Copyright Act 1988 ). This apply to images used in social medias too. Under no circumstances do not download, crop, remove watermark or edit images done by Wiola Monko. Legal action may be taken against people breaching the law.
4.7 Additional costs are obligatory if the client wants his selected order to be sent. Free shipping available only with “Newborn Special package”.
4.8 Wiola Monko is not responsible for delays caused by third parties.
5. Ordering
5.1 Standard editing: This consists of smoothing and adjusting light level.
5.2 Advanced editing: Removal of hands, extending backgrounds, major changes to images.
5.3 Standard editing will be available at no additional charge to the client at the photographer’s judgement.
5.4 Advanced editing will be carried out where requested by the client but this may incur an additional charge. Any charges will be discussed with the client prior to completion.
5.5 Photos will not be released until any additional charges have been paid for in full.
5.6 Any editing requests will be considered but final editing decisions will be with the photographer.
5.7 Advanced editing can take up to 28 days to complete.
5.8 Any physical product ordered will be delivered within 28 working days from date of payment completed. This time may be extended dependant on time of the year.
5.9 If the client orders digital images only, they may have them printed at a location of their choice.
5.10 Wiola Monko cannot be held responsible for the quality of the product when ordered from a third party direct by the client.
5.11 No additional editing by the client or by a third party instructed by the client is permitted on any image supplied by Wiola Monko.
6. Digital Images and slideshow
6.1 Digital images are non-refundable under any circumstances.
6.2 It is recommended that a laptop or desktop PC is used to download the images. Some handheld devices (smart phones and tables) may no support the downloading of digital images supplied by Wiola Monko. Wiola Monko will not be held responsible if your device does not support the downloads.
6.3 Wiola Monko cannot be held responsible in any way for problems resulting from sharing the slideshow. The slideshow you have received is for your own use only. Wiola Monko does not have any rights to the music appearing in the slideshow.
7. Promotions and vouchers
7.1 From time to time Wiola Monko will offer promotions on sessions and/or products. Full details of the current promotion will be available on request.
7.2 Products may be included in the promotion and will only be available for the duration of the promotion.
7.3 Promotions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
7.4 If products are offered, these will be detailed in the promotion or offer.
7.5 Voucher is valid for up to 30 days from the due date or from agree date. Payment will not be refunded for any reason. Unless Wiola Monko is unable to perform the session, if required clause 2.3 will apply. If the person who received the voucher does not show up or is more than 1 hour late, the session will be cancelled and clause 2.1 will apply.
8. Christmas Mini Session/Other Session
8.1 The session deposit paid is non refundable, cover the time for the session by Wiola Monko
and it’s deducted from chosen package.
8.2 If the client cancels the appointment for any reason, the session fee will be non-refundable.
8.3 If the client cancels the appointment in 24h before the session because of the due to illness of some family member, the session may be postponed only to the date appointed by the photographer.
8.4 If the client will not appear at the session, the deposit is non-refundable.
8.5 If the government prohibits Wiola Monko from practicing in the profession due to COVID-19, the session fee will be non-refundable and the date of the session will be postponed to the date set by Wiola Monko.
8.6 Wiola Monko will provide a gallery of maximum 15 pictures. PDF is to view images only. All images belong to Wiola Monko are covered under copyrights (Copyright Act 1988 ). This apply to images used in social medias too. Under no circumstances do not download, crop, remove watermark or edit images done by Wiola Monko. Legal action may be taken against people breaching the law.
9. Photo with partner/siblings
9.1 Photo with a partner is included in the session price only in the Sweet and Special package. Unless agreed with Wiola Monko.
9.2 Partner is allowed to join only to one/two stylization. Unless agreed with Wiola Monko.
9.3 Only one siblings including in the session price ( Sweet and Special Package)
9.4 Every additional child have to be discussed with Wiola Monko before booking.
9.5 Parents are obliged to look after their children during the session, any damage caused by negligence of the children must be paid in full.
As the photography is ”I like what I see” type of business, which means new clients book based on current work shared, as well as appreciation is the trigger in creative process, Wiola Monko uses images in portfolio, on website, Facebook, Instagram, in competition if you DO NOT WANT the images to be used, please contact Wiola Monko before booking.
